New Hires & Promotions - Joe Summers, Lia Smith, Kiera Davis, Nick Leonhardt
SatisFacts ( www.SatisFacts.com), a provider of resident feedback/surveys and online reputation management programs to nearly a million units nationally, is excited to announce the following new hires and promotions.
Joe Summers has joined SatisFacts as VP of Sales/East Region. Joe is an accomplished sales professional, having previously served as account and sales management executives with industry leaders CallSource, Valet Waste and Primedia (HPC). Just prior to joining SatisFacts, Joe had a long term career building the CallSource brand. In a related announcement, Jeff Proebstle has been promoted to Senior VP of Sales, where he will oversee the company’s national sales organization. Jeff joined SatisFacts in 2005, and has been responsible for building and overseeing the company’s national sales effort. In addition, Brian Barfield has been promoted to Regional VP of Sales/Southeast.
Lia Nichole Smith has joined SatisFacts as Vice President of Education and Consulting. Lia has over fifteen years of experience in training, property management and marketing. After being responsible for training 1,000 Customer Care Representatives at Nextel Communications, Lia began her property management career with Lincoln Property Company. In 2006, she became Director of Training and Marketing for SPM Property Management, a 14,000+ unit portfolio; in this position, she created the SPM Academy and a Learning Management System, as well as developed and managed SPM’s resident feedback program. In a related change, Jen Piccotti has been promoted to SVP of Education and Consulting. Jen joined SatisFacts in 2007, and has been responsible for directing SatisFacts’ education, client support and social media programs.
Nick Leonhardt has been hired as a Software Developer for SatisFacts. He will support SatisFacts’ CTO, Rob Trainer in managing and enhancing the company’s feedback and reporting systems. Prior to joining SatisFacts, Nick’s experience included programming responsibilities for a medical research facility systems provider, as well as website design for an automotive industry systems provider. Nick earned a BS in Computer Science from Princeton University.
Kiera Davis has also joined SatisFacts as an Account Coordinator. Kiera’s prior experience included sales support for the Baltimore Sun’s Media Group; in addition, she has two years experience in property management as a Leasing and Marketing Specialist. In her role with SatisFacts, Kiera supports the national sales team, serving as liaison between clients and the company’s Operations Department. Kiera earned a BS in Marketing from Philadelphia University.

Managers are you communicating with your maintenance lead? Maintenance leads are you communicating with the manager? These two should be linked at the hips when it comes to managing a property. If they are not communicating properly, then I can show you where money is being lost on a daily basis.

For those that do not know it and want to bring controlled spending to your properties check out this eSupplySystems. They are up and coming and from what I have seen bring a pretty good savings to those who want to see and improvement on their MRO and NOI then check out this site www.esupplysystems.com This company deals with some of the top 100 property management companies in the US.
Not a sales person for the company, but I have seen good things come out of it and for sure there is a control on spending and you get their purchasing power which will lower your spend. I know they deal with Maintenance Supply Headquarters, Wilmar, Grainger, SEARS, and Sherwin Williams just to name a few.
Owners and Management companies will see a real savings without a drop in service. I have talked to the people there at this company and the people to talk to are Mike Fortenberry or the owner Keu Zafar.
Check these folks out as you will then know something that other insiders may not share with you. Get a true control on your spend!

Our commitment at the very beginning was to make certain we had systems in place to scale the organization and manage it on an ongoing basis. We understand apartment complexes need quality service their clients can depend on whether they're from the states or moving in from abroad we make the transition seamless for them to get their electricity connected. Building relationships first in a warm caring, friendly, caring environment is very important to me. Still have families that call in from time to time just to say hi. Everything is about people. If something good happens, it's because of people. We now at a stage where more apartment complexes, agents, and realtors are using our services. Our vision and focus has is to continue to provide excellent service as the finest and most respected electricity company. When someone writes back and says, "thank you Will, before I was barely able to afford to keep my lights on and food on the table, now with credit I receive each month, things are a lot better."

I am a newbee to the apartment world, however our company has been in the multifamily large loss industry for many years. One of my goals this year is to try to keep up to date with the many challenges that the apartment industry faces. This forum seems ideal, as well and being alot of fun I recently attended the San Antonio Apartment Associations' State of the Industry program. It was full of great information and shed light on what is going on across the nation. Hats off to Texas for weathering the economic storm. It amazes me to see just how one industry affects the other and so on.
