Topic: Creating a Map of the Surrounding Area Around Your Community

This video is actually pretty old, but I still think it is a fantastic way to showcase your surrounding community on your website. I just created a test map, and it is incredibly easy. I especially like the idea of including videos - Imagine having a series of videos about local hotspots, including great restaurants, relaxing coffee shops, unique boutiques, local schools, city landmarks, and other important and relevant locations. Going beyond that, this could be an amazing partnership marketing opportunity, where you could either trade promotion with a local business, or even charge to be a part of the map!

Has anyone used this and incorporated it into their website? Or do you have better (and more current) map widgets on your site? I would love to see examples!


And plus, I'm sure it is better than your residents having to do this... :)
