Private Social Networks for Apartments 2 Years, 2 Months ago

Does anyone know of any apartment community that has set up a private social network for community members?

I'm talking a facebook like application for just residents. If you know of anyone who's been successful (or unsuccessful) I'd love to learn more about how it works.
