Topic: 25% to 30% price increase in drywall in 2013 - are you ready?

After lowering production through layoffs and plant closures during the recession, drywall producers won't be able to keep up with increased demand in 2013, resulting in more cost increases, according this source . The question is will the increased costs be split among the developer and contractor or will they all be passed down the chain?

This is more of a question as I got the dry wall costs, but if the prices are going up, does this mean that the plaster wall costs are too! I know that the plaster walls in the past were more than the dry wall by about 25% or so, but with the dry wall going up, maybe the plaster may not be such a bad idea.
