Hello Brent,
This is more of a question as I got the dry wall costs, but if the prices are going up, does this mean that the plaster wall costs are too! I know that the plaster walls in the past were more than the dry wall by about 25% or so, but with the dry wall going up, maybe the plaster may not be such a bad idea.
Me, I have always been a fan of plaster as I think over the long run it saves you money, or pays for itself if you will. I have a link which is pretty useful. It is a 2012 guide that if you click on the area you can place in your zip code and it will give you average costs and you can go to plaster repair or dry wall repair and look at costs as well.

Hope I did not get too far away from the subject!
