This kind of thing happens a lot with disabled veterans being foreclosed on due to no fault of their own and evicted. Simple things like an operation that keeps them from earning money and there is a loss of income. VA does not approve a hardship determination, the mortgage company when saying amicable normally is never in the veteran's favor. This one touches close to home with me because I am a disabled veteran and I work with other veterans and I know how cold it can get even with all of these supposed safety nets out there. Are there some that are deadbeats? Sure there are, but the vast majority are hardworking and will come through if given a chance. Many got jacked up while defending our country and while out are having to pay for it.

This is a case of doing the right thing, rather than letting the bottomline rule your judgement. Doing the right thing is hard for many and some just do not care.
