We have a newly renovated clubhouse with foosball, computers, etc., and it's SPRING BREAK for our school age kids...and BEDLAM in the clubhouse! In absence of any policies (OK, we should have had them first...) the Property Manager just runs out, reminds them this is a business, and asks them to speak softly, threatening them with being kicked out. That works for 10 minutes! ;)
Does anyone have a policy for use of amenities they are willing to share? And non-offensive rules to post? Any suggestions or help are appreciated...Anyone want to buy a barely used foosball?
THANKS, Multifamily Insider Friends!

You poor thing!! What were you thinking????

In my old clubhouse, I made a sign in Microsoft Publisher, and I am sure you can make one in Word and put it in a frame in a high traffic area.

Rules of the House
*No drinks or food on the carpeted areas
*Clean up after yourself
* etc.

I also had a sign-in sheet at the door that everyone had to fill-out.

First Name Unit# Time In Time Out

at the bottom was: Limit of 1 hour per household and rotating 1 hour off.

This way, someone can come in and see how much longer the equipment will be used by the people there.

Also, I had a radio playing (where I couldn't hear it) that had a sign: DO NOT TOUCH!

If it got bad, I put in my "Opera Music" CD and turned it up. It will run them off!!!!

It would be great if you had a Bluetooth Speaker near them and could turn on that music from you Iphone.
