Topic: Export options in Property Management Software

Hi all. I work for a tech startup that is considering expanding a product into multi-family, but we're struggling to figure out a few things about the capabilities of the different Property Management applications currently being used.

Does your average Property Manager have the ability to export basic resident contact information to a csv, xml or excel file from the different Property Management software applications they might be using (Yardi, Realpage, Etc.)? Are there permissions that usually restrict exporting data like that?

I have worked with One Site, Yardi, MRI, and Entrata (property solutions) and they all allow you to export to a csv file. It is your data so typically there are no permission restrictions, unless you request they be set up for certain job categories or roles

I work with ResMan Property Management software, and we have several standard reports which are able to be scheduled or pulled on demand in several formats including CSV.

We also have options to allow for certified partners to leverage our API to request data in several formats which might be easier to manage.
