Training Trivia

Regardless of your pet policy, it is fine to charge a pet deposit or fee, as long as you allow residents to have service animals.

Our first Training Trivia (powered by Grace Hill) was a smashing success!  The first trivia question received 158 responses, and of those, 85 were eligible to receive a gift card.  (You must be registered and logged into the site to be eligible!)  For those who missed it, here was the question:

"There are a number of reasons why a community owner or manager may set limits to the number of occupants permitted in an apartment home. Which of the following reasons is a violation of Fair Housing laws?"
  • To protect residents from unsafe and unhealthy conditions
  • To avoid overcrowding
  • To limit the number of children in each apartment home
  • To manage the amount of noise
Congrats to everybody who got the correct answer!  If you didn't, here's a little help:
"Occupancy standards are necessary for reasons of public health and safety and to eliminate overcrowding.  They must not discriminate, intentionally or unintentionally, against families with children."
And last but certainly not least, the winner of the first Training Trivia!

Congrats to Michele Mann for winning our first Training Trivia!  Thanks to Grace Hill, Michele has won a $10 gift card of her choice!  For everybody else, we will be doing Training Trivia twice a month, so keep a look out for new Trivia questions on the site!  (In fact, we have just put up a new one right now)
