Hello Mike,

I frequently "like" my own posts on our fan pages because it helps me monitor responses. By using the "like" button from my profile notifications are sent to me of the responses we have received, in this way I am able to go to that fan page and respond in a timely manor. Without clicking the "like" button I would not know about the communication until I go in and make my next post.

Sometimes I "like" my own posts so that I can get the notifications, like Tami pointed out. Other times, I "like" it because someone else posted a comment that I REALLY like, so its a way for me to say I "like" the comment!
