Regardless of your pet policy, it is fine to charge a pet deposit or fee, as long as you allow residents to have service animals.

Episode 41 - Who is writing your social media playbook?

I've been sharing an analogy with some friends comparing social media to football.  You really could compare business or marketing in general to football, but you can just think about that however you want.  Anyway, check out this week's post and let me know your thoughts.  Is anyone writing your playbook, or are you just going out for a pass?

Mark - I was starting to wonder what happened to you! Welcome back!

I love the idea of a playbook. It helps the team decide what they want to do this week, if it’s getting a response, if it needs to be modified. Just like other marketing projects, when our teams can see what the choices are, make those choices, and know what the end goal is, they have a higher likelihood of achieving it! (Touchdown!)

Daisy, thanks for the comment. Sorry I've been away. smilies/smiley.gif

I like the idea as it really allows the on site teams to call an audible, refer to something that can get them back on track, ask a coach (manager) for suggestions on what play to run next, and use it as a guideline for what to do, but act in the moment. We're too fixated on creating a machine that runs the plays, but it takes the people to run them effectively as the defense on the field is not a machine.

Remember the old electric football game? That machine just ran the players all over the place with no rhyme or reason. Not very effective. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=I9sD1hmqBFs
