  • Hello Everyone,

I am new to the group. I am a 'vendor' who offers Web Marketing (SEO) services. So, if you have any questions about your online marketing strategy, I'd love to talk. I promise a consultative experience, not a sales pitch.

Here's to your success and growth in 2012!

  • I am new to the group and am looking forward to lively discussions and getting to know all or at least most of you.

I graduated from Ashworth College (Property Management) in May, 2011 with a 4.0 average, but am having a hard time breaking into the business. Everyone wants experience, which I understand, but how am I supposed to get experience if no one will hire me. I would really like to start as a lease consultant and learn the business from the ground up.

I worked as a store manager, in finance, for ten years. I started at the bottom and worked my way up.

Any advise or help would be greatly appreciated.

Let me see what I can find for you Cassandra!
Hi Amy, From someone who deals with this everyday from scores of companies, concessions don't matter much. I have clients who offer free I pads, bikes, rent, etc.. Customer service and monthly price are the key. Price being #1. Customer service and positive experience being a close #2. Oops, I just realized this post is over a year old. Anyway, I hope this was of value to you? Having listened to hundreds of phone calls. A friendly, informed voice on the phone is what gets people to visit your community!
Hi Terri, (From a vendor) Being new to the Multifamily Industry, my biggest challenge is introducing a service that requires a new way of thinking. I feel in today's market if you keep doing the norm, you will get passed by? Our communities that we serve are receiving 62 to 167 leads per month.(sorry to sound like a commercial). We are getting involved with the AMA and that has been great. Any suggestions? Gregg
