Hi Jessica, of course it will all boil down to the management agreement that you have in place, and what it allows you to charge for. I've seen 100+ unit properties charge a technology fee on top of management fees, especially when the management fee is in the 3% range. In my experience, when that percentage increases it usually becomes a more inclusive fee that includes technology and other similar items.
So in general, I'd say yes, software/technology fees are sometimes charged, but it will depend on the management agreement and market specifics.
