Topic: I would very much like to change into the Apartment Industry

Hi,
I hope this is OK to ask. But I found this site when applying for a position at a property. I have 10 years experience in the Hospitality Industry and most of that in Management. I would very much like to change into the Apartment Industry. I feel certain that my skill set would translate well into the industry. Here is my question. What would suggest as far and making that move? I understand that there is a lot of marketing involved and you need to be somewhat tech savvy with the property management systems that you utilize in that industry. What would capture your attention to bring someone on board. Even in an entry level position if needed. What do you look for? And what advice would you give? Online application process seemingly counts me out with the experience I have and the salary history I have. But I am confident that I will move up and have no issues with entry level at this juncture. I just need a foot in the door so to speak and I AM OFF to the races....lol... I do hope this wasn't out of line to ask. But in finding this site I also will gain insight to the resolutions to the problems perhaps that are common in the industry.
