I currently have 4 ESA dogs with letters from my dr. Two are mine and two are my sons. My boyfriend is considering moving in and he has a dog. Will I legally be able to have a 5th dog. The 5th being the ONLY pet in the home.
This is not legal advice, and this is only based upon my own understanding, which may be incorrect: Any ESA should have no bearing on pets. So if the community has a pet policy allowing one pet, for example, then that 5th animal would be the one pet, as ESA's are not considered pets.
