The most success I've had is using steel wool to retexture the metal and "hiding" small dents/dings. This doesn't remove the problem, instead, it is kind of a camouflage.

I've not used any of the dent removal kits (like others have shown) but will give it a shot upon the next opportunity. THANK YOU for the topic!

If the dent is not to creased in the middle and not too big, try Dry Ice. I know it sounds crazy but I have used it many times on minor car dents. Take a piece of Dry Ice, wrapped a few times in a towel, and hold it to the dent. Again I know it sounds absolutely crazy, but it works on small car dents.

unfortunately, if the panel is not replaceble then stainless steel will always show where it was repaired. some are replaceable and some are not. it would be nice if residents would take care of them but we know thats not the case.

The inside panel is removable for most models and the door can be improved in many cases. Reinstalling or replacing the gaskets is the hardest part. But new doors are much less expensive than new appliances! Gecustomernet.com
