Illiana Keith no specific amount, they do auto renews so ever 2 hours the tool posts for us up to 5 ads. I have 5 leasing so that is 25 ads in 2 hours. This tool also does posting while we are not in the office as well

We hire a marketing freelancer that post 1200 CL ads a month for us. Managing our FB page and creates around 20 FB ads for $500 a month. Do you thing tjus is expensive?

If they manage your Facebook as well then this seems good. We check around every 6 months for other options. We pay a company called scuttlebucket 59 a month for Facebook to post then jturner to manage our google, Facebook, internet reviews and that is around 150 a month. They are good with managing reviews and they also send out surveys after work orders are complete so we can see how we did

I’m curious coming from the PM side and now on the vendor side- are you receiving qualified traffic from Craigslist? If so, for what asset classes? Always interested to stay on top of current industry trends.

Just like any advertising format, it depends. However, getting the information out on all media sources it my target goal. My property is tax credit, we are 100% leased and working on units available for late July and August. Having been in property management for over 20 years its about being proactive and and not reactive.

Agreed- being proactive is key! I spent 20 years in Real Estate and Property Management before moving to the vendor side and always want to hear from you all on current trends. Thanks for the response!

Yes, Craigslist is still a valid source of traffic and leases. Results vary based on a number of factors (frequency/consistency/content of postings, price point, metro area/submarket) but we find it is definitely worth the effort in almost all instances.
