I don't think it is always about creating something funny. I think "useful" is just as important! I'm going deep into the archives for this one, but 10 years ago Mike Whaling wrote a blog about 30 topics you can write in your community blog, and I think the same types of things are relevant with social media, as well.

Beyond that, rather than trying to create things yourself, think of yourself as a curator of content. Any time I see a social media post that deals with apartments in any way, I immediately think whether that makes sense for our audience, and you could easily do the same.
