When I came back from a small rural apartment market someone asked me if I was ready to re-learn marketing in the large market. Re-learn marketing in the large market is a lot tougher than rural america right? I wonder what Large vs. Small marketing is? Is it Price, Promotion, Placement, Product? Are there differences? Nope still the same fundamentals. Let's say I drop my price below market and then update all my sites without target marketing would I capture more leases? If I strategically placed my billboard on a highway overlooking the best locale I would capture more leases right? Hummmm...Let's see what some people have advised...

Large Market Marketing must mean the following conditions and rules must be met: large market marketing is putting your flyers in everyone's store whether or not they could assist you. Large market marketing is going from place to place just saying hi to the first person who you see and then walking out the door. Large market marketing is being hip and trendy and able to "talk" your way out of any situation right?

Love the term "Grass Roots Marketing." This is small town marketing right? What does "Grass Roots" really mean? That would not work in large markets though right? If I talk slower in a large market or come off abrasive in a small rural market they would have unending consequences right? Hold on one second. I found the answer in writing this: Relationship. Surely one's relationship has nothing to do with how many leads come from one business that may not be getting located to another. Help me out with this one please...share your experiences with Large vs Small market techniques.
