We manage a 100 unit intercity property with tenants that don't usually use the internet. We have been trying to decide if cable TV is an option. It is very expensive for a 100 unit complex, but we are running out of ideas as to how to market to our target market. Any help appreciated.

Hello GD,

There is a company called Asset Essentials and they are based out of San Antonio, Texas, but they have accounts nation wide. Maybe worth giving them a call at 210.204.9796 and ask for Tanya or Brooke. They may be of assistance to you.

I think your best bet is community outreach. Get involved with local businesses, groups, and programs. TV is for large mass market brands primarily and don't deliver the return you'll be looking for with your niche product. Even the largest property management companies don't invest in TV because of this.

Also turn to your current residents. Find out where they work, what groups or organizations they participate or are a part of.

Network, network, network.

Also, your market is online. You just need to target them properly and find out what channels they are using.

I would need some more details on your situation to give some specific ideas, but I can't support a TV investment for many types of small businesses.
