Hey folks,

I realize this verges into the proprietary, but does anyone have a new Property Manager training checklist or similar they'd be willing to share w/ me?

Once we customize to our company, I'd be delighted to post it to the site.
Thanks for your consideration.

Usually I have seen that any specific training that the leasing and maintenance professionals take is required for the property manager as well since they need to understand the expectations that the property management team expects of them.

Here is a basic one I have developed in the past. This of course can be modified and changed based on corporate or management/owner requirements.

This was a great conversation on my Facebook page starting with this post:
I got a question on my website today about a "Managers Survival Kit" and I just seen one for a groom (shopping for my daughters wedding)! Here is the Groom kit - let's create ideas for a "Managers Survival Kit"-- OK - what do you think they need????????

Here is what is in the Groom Kit: Toothbrush, Toothpaste, Dental Floss, Mints, Deodorant, Pain Reliever, Antacid, Facial Tissues, Razor, Shaving Cream, Styptic Pencil, Nail Clipper, Adhesive Bandages, Interior Mirror, Lint Remover, Mending K...it, Scissors, Safety Pins, Boutonniere Pins, Stain Remover, Wrinkle Remover, Black Socks, Extra Wedding Bands, Stress Ball Keychain

Heather Blume Mgr Survival kit starts with 8 hour rapid release Tylenol capsules. Add in 15 packs of Post it Notes, safety pins, superglue, Mr. Clean Magic eraser, Granny reading glasses (for reading spreadsheets) and I think, most essential, a Magic 8 Ball.

Angie Hamp-Hagert Crutches, Valium, a Hard Hat, are a few items that I can think of, lol!

Lindsay Hubbard Booth Excedrin, Clorox wipes, and chocolate for a start. :)

Patty Blum Crawford I think all good manager kits come with a great maintenance person!! It's going to be a big box!

VistaShores Greystar band aids, measuring tape, hand sanitizer, permanent marker (works double for when you scuff your heels), and bug spray. Thats all I can think of off the top of my head right now.

Blanca Valdez
Aspirin
Highlighter
Pen
Mechanical pencil
Notebook
...Sewing kit
Calculator
Chapstick
Candy & chocolate

Carolyn Lamb Steele great bottle of white wine
Tamara Fleckenstine The book " Portable Therapist" with a couch in their office and tip jar! For both residents and team members! A case of Monster's during budget season with value pack of BC Powders... Great pair of tennis shoes and a spray water bottle fan for walking property. (at least here in Tx.) Time out chair and a Great sense of humor! That should at least get you through the 1st day! :)

Linda Crouch prozac for the boss

Dustin White Ticket to Mexico!

Drenda Martin Coffee, Tylenol, headphones (sound proof, of course, just in case she/he needs a callgon moment), good music to liven the soul, and something to let the stress out (maybe a soundproof box they could scream in, just on the bad days, cause they all aren't bad!)

Renee Caron Emergency slide -- will that fit in that little box?

I am not seeing this and it would be really helpful to have. Can someone please send it to me or send me the link? It shows as not valid.

Thank you
