Topic: Site questions

I suspect I'm missing something. Is their an area that explains the site? I have a number of questions and was looking around not really finding the answers. How does one become listed as a vendor? I see various distinctions like fresh and junior insider, not sure what that really means.

I have other questions but that is a start.

Sorry I didn't notice your post earlier! I'm happy to answer any questions you have. You can list them here or click on my profile and send me a private message, as well.

As for getting listed as a vendor, are you referring to the "Supplier Search" area (on the main menu at the top)? If so, when you are logged in, visit that page and click on "Add Entry". The basic listing is free, and the upgrades are pretty cheap.

As for being a "fresh" or "junior" insider, that is specific to the discussions area and indicates how many posts a member has. It helps others get a feel for who is really involved in the site. Our systems are highly integrated, but there are a few areas that are not completely so. That is why "karma" in the discussions area does not match "karma" on your profile. But in general, many of these rankings simply try to show who are the most active members on the site!
