B) My husband owns a landscape biz so I know some about the subject. I would go with the grass only because unless you do natural mulch the dogs will track it back in the apartment leaving black paw prints everywhere. I would go grass.
Whatever you choose, you will need to water the area. This will help dilute the liquid waste and allow it to seep into the ground vs. sitting on top and become quite odorous. :sick:
