Assuming you are not receiving promo materials from your retail source, I would email all the residents first. Then I would post it on Facebook and Twitter and start some kind of Instagram posts, such as "We saw NAME OF MOVIE" or "WE PLAYED THIS GAME". But if this were my property, I would create a theatre marquis with the movie poster and posters framed. I used to host all night Gaming Tournaments on Friday nights, so that might be an incentive to get the residents involved.
