Topic: Best Retention Tips

I am looking to add some tips to my blog on resident retention and would love to know what has worked for you in 2011. Credits will be given, Thanks!

We increased our resident events to four times a month. The residents really liked that there was an event for everyone. For example the first friday of the month is a kids craft event, the third Wed. of the month is a family movie night/game night, then we do some diffrent things along the way. Also we started calling back the residents who have had a maintenance request just to follow up with them, the response has been great, some have even left comments on apartment ratings and facebook.
