Does anyone have a referral for a mass texting system for alerting residents of emergencies or special events?

Craig, have you ever checked out RokitNow ? They offer texting services, and the founder, Bhavin, is a great guy.

My last company used KnockRentals.com for resident communication. It allowed for text and email, as well as click-to-call functionality. It also allowed us to handle inbound traffic aggregation, to give us a single place to handle all our leads.

I liked working with their dashboard, very intuitive.

I have used CallFire in the past. There is no monthly fee. You buy credits when you need to use it.

ForRent.com has the great program called Community Messenger for $99 per month. It is a stand alone product with no limits on number of texts per month.

Skipio - www.skipio.com, one the BEST platforms we have seen. Ask for Dave Norton, Chief Revenue Officer, who spent several years in the multifamily industry and knows our needs.

We use Zipwhip, it allows you to use your existing business number. You can send individual texts or group texts. We have been using it for a little over a year now and I really like it. There is an additional fee, for me the fee was worth it to be able to do mass texting it also has an app for your cell phone. Which has worked wonderful for any after hour emergency.

How much is it?
Can it separate people into groups or categories?
Can they opt out on their own?
