:::Parking Decal Rollout::: Having to implement decals due to parking problems. I’ve had cling decals made for read window of cars. Two questions!
(1.) I have two residents who have come in stating they work for car rental companies and that they drive various cars home each night. I am going to require proof of their current job to verify. Otherwise - how would I handle the decal since it’s different cars?? Was thinking maybe have a number of hang tag style decals made.
(2.) I have a number or motorcycles parked on property. My decals are round and bigger than I expected. Where would be a good place for motorcycle decal? Or, how would you handle motorcycles?
Trying hard to roll these out right and fairly so we don’t end up with issues. Thank you!!

Keeping track of what resident has the hang decals is going to be super important. They get “lost” or held on to longer than originally anticipated.

I have motorcycle decals and a good management software.
I've done parking management in Southern California for 20years.
Employees of rental car companies and car dealerships are a continually challenge. The only way to manage it is make them responsible for the hang and have a huge replacement cost if lost. Anything less than $50 doesn't seem to bother the resident.
Having them responsible for entry is a big help. The ability for after hours registration for temporary or guest vehicles is big bonus.
How are you monitoring the parking area does your vendor have access to the vehicle information or do you provide a list.
Would be more than happy to give any guidance I can.

For safety purposes, I’d suggest not printing the property name on them.

I have number spaces and number hanging tags. I have my motorcycles park in the same spot as their car. Haven’t run into anyone only having a motorcycle. May have to designate a few spaces and ask that 2 park per space.

In this day and age, why use physical hang tags or decals at all? Why not use something like www.parkade.com or  www.smartrent.com ?

Normally you don't put tags on motorcycles since they can't take up a car space unless they are in thier reserved space with the car. People can just steal them/peel them off.
