I saw a PM ask a Porter, in the first question of the interview… “So… tell me… what really pisses you off???”

I’ve reviewed you’re resume and it seems you were a job hopper… Tell me why you’re lazy?

If you were a color, what color would you be?
Seriously, man. I just want a paycheck, not acid..

I had an applicant ask me my worst quality and when I asked what happened at their last job they said they had attendance issues and their boss was an a** for requiring they come to work

The worst interview question was one I asked a very pretty young woman when I managed a pizza restaurant decades ago.
The question was supposed to be “ is it ever ok to change your time card with Correction fluid”.... I slipped up really bad. She cracked up laughing snd said she hopes so because she really needs the money.
I was way past embarrassed which made he laugh even more.
She was a great worker and a good friend for years.

So you listed what the question was supposed to be, but I’m not seeing what you said? I’m invested now and need to know haha

I was recently asked if I could still walk up the steps! Wrong question to ask this 78 year old Wonder Woman!!

 I’m 90% sure that’s illegal to ask lol.

Not if waking up the steps is part of the job description and it is asked off all applicants

 You are correct. I’ve just heard more than one interview with a similar situation and the question was not asked of all applicants. Therefore based on personal experience I think that more often than not ageism is a thing.

it's hard to prove and I just see it as part of learning for me!! Ageism is REAL! And after my comment to her, I knew I wouldn't be offered the position! LOL!!!

I had an interviewer ask me if I thought my career had been different if I'd been born a different race.

I interviewed someone today and when asked to turn on his camera during our (ZOOM) call, I’m pretty positive he was sitting on his toilet

Someone asked me "why do you feel the need to work".....I don't know, over the years I have grown accustomed to things like eating, having electricity, and not being homeless

See that just might be a decent interview question to see how motivated a person is to work. Lol so many people call in for little to no reason at all. It’s annoying. Especially in this industry!

I was recently asked this question in an interview. 
If you were standing in line at the bank among 50 other people, and a masked gunman barged inside and only shot you in the arm, what would the first thoughts in your mind be?

Kick the guy till he fell, then kick his jaw and head till he was not moving, then grab the gun and shoot his thumbs off. Why? How did you handle the situation?

After initially being shocked about being asked this question, I responded that I would not have stood in line with 50 people waiting inside the bank in the first place! ;)

I was asked if I planned on 1.  having any children. 2. Getting married anytime soon.  This is why the owner of the property should leave matters like this to someone qualified.  I almost dropped when I heard these questions, but the worst of all was when a *pending* PM(had not taken over my property yet) asked if I liked the size of his p—-s!!!  As he dropped his pants in the closed office.  I wanted to keep my job when the sale of property went through and was much younger, afraid, nervous-so many things.  I LIED.  Agreed with the creep.  This was over 20 years ago.  I found out later it was his MO; he did this to girls and women who were in danger of losing their jobs as their property’s were selling.

The worst job interview was right after I escaped from my extremely abusive marriage. 
The shop owner kept asking me extremely intrusive questions that I did not realize were illegal at the time. 
1. Are you planning on having any more babies? Oh, you're a single mom, is the dad even in the picture?
3. Why are you divorced now? "Oh, but did he really abuse you"? 

His shop ended up closing shortly after that interview.

I imagine it'd be "ouch"!
