Hello All,
What is your companies allowance/policy for cell phones for Managers and Maintenance Technicians who are required to be on call?
Monthly cell phone stipend or provide company phone?

They give us an on call phone, but I use my personal cell for everything else. I work for a small company though, so that may not work for bigger ones. They don't reimburse me but it's because I have unlimited everything anyway so it makes no sense for them to pay me for something that doesn't cost me anything out of my pocket.

We have a digital phone system that can route to any phone number and mask outgoing calls. So everyone uses their personal cell phones. Allowances are old-fashioned back to when using extra data or minutes costs extra. Everything is unlimited now so there really is no need to reimburse somebody for something that doesn't cost them anything extra.

It be fair my company would look at your monthly phone bill and what ever calls were work related they paid for on their private phones . It works great
