I put a plastic floating alligator in. It kept out duck and night swimmers

Floating alligator in the pool, if you have tall fencing you can affix the little iridescent windmills to it, along with the reflective ribbon. Also affix them to the railings at either end of the pool. There are noise devices that work and also automatic sprinklers.

True story: We had Canadian Geese wreck havoc around our lake so we purchased real looking fake coyotes to scare them away which they did not do. During a property inspection a corporate inspector asked why we did not get real ones. Can't make this stuff up.

Floating swans help but sometimes blow away. Most pond companies sell weighted swans that work really well in ponds and pools.

Really scary looking fake wolf's. With Fir and everything. Works for geese as well. 100% effective. I have also used cheap blow up beach balls and leave a bunch floating in the pool.

Weight down a rubber snake. Let it float under the water.
