When I first started working, I lived on-site. My neighbors were particularly passionate one night during the summer, and our building faced into the carports under the next building, so the cul-de-sac between them was a near-perfect echo chamber.

After her third (fourth?) crescendo, somewhere around 3 am, I just started clapping. Within a few minutes, so did the other neighbors. Suffice to say, we quickly heard their window close.

When I lived onsite my neighbor upstairs would be SO LOUD. My son thought they were jumping on the bed LOL When the resident would come in the office he would be SO HAPPY, rested...cheerful and I would just smile and nod all while thinking I CAN HEAR YOU, I can hear her, I can hear EVERYYYYTHING!! LOL

Or having one of our challenged tenants call the police because he thought the guy was hurting her.

Always referred to that as their nocturnal activities are disturbing their fellow residents.

My favorite is “we’ve received notice that noises of a personal nature in the evening are disturbing some of your neighbors.”
