Has anyone ever used Parcel Pending Package Lockers?
If is what are the pros and cons?
We currently have the Amazon Hub but trying to get away from that.

It’s only worth while if the curriers use them. Amazon never does and half the time UPS and FedEx don’t either. Then if the system is down, they don’t send a repairman out. I have to fix it myself.

I'd go with Luxer One if the choice is still open.

Craig Meddin that’s who I was looking at they are just the most expensive. But I know you get what you pay for.

We have parcel pending. Most of our issues are couriers related. On occasion have some resident data issues like missing people, move outs being back on the list etc. recently after 2 years starting to have issues with the lockers themselves. Rusting, lockers not opening, not registering when a package is entered/removed. We pay for their customer care and they pretty much are useless. Take forever to get responses and because they are not local to us our team has to do the majority of trial runs on repairs. It would be nice to have a tech just come out and solve the problem. We’ve never had another system so unsure of how it rates agains competitors. I will say overall just slightly better than accepting packages in the office. We still are package police and often having to go looking for miss delivered packages. The benefit is for our residents who can now get packages after hours, for us it’s still quite a bit of work.

Nikki Carbine we have Amazon Hub right now and we make all carriers use it. Either leave at resident door or in the Hub. Biggest downfall is Amazon customer service sucks and it’s not integrated with our Realpage software.I know Parcel Pending will integrate with our software but worried about the customer service.

Kassy Dawn Ivins they are relatively quick with replying to emails and they’re nice, my only issue is that they make me go over and fix the system myself, which being that I run a 424 unit community, I do not have time for that.

Kassy Dawn Ivins we have parcel pending and it is worse than your hub, same issue with Amazon. Residents are charged if packages are not removed in 24 hours

I have done parcel pending most of my career and just recently transferred to a property that has luxor but I would never do the amazon key or hub... I know parcel pending back and forth, still learning luxor but unfortunately amazon drivers are hit or miss... and it is rarely the same person delivering every day. Packages are a problem for office staff even when you have the lockers... best of luck bc I feel the pain!

Parcel pending is not the best and not as user friendly. I would go with Luxor.

A lot of the carriers don’t use them and you end up with a mail room full of packages on the floor and up above. I think they have some issues to work out. I used to live in a community of years ago and they had parcel pending and were not fond of it Have you looked into Fetch?

Parcel pending installed about 6 months ago and only driver issues so far. Easy software, easy for residents to use

Awful! They charge the resident if packages are not removed in 24 hours. Customer service is terrible and difficult to get invoices
