I specifically want to know if anyone has switched over to Yardi and how do you like it? I’m considering making the switch, but want to hear the pros and cons. Thank you!

I went to Entrata and couldn’t be happier! The work/life balance will take you some getting used to because you will actually have one! 🫶 (I honestly do not have a single con.)

The CSM role is a perfect role to transition into from the Property Management side. I hope that helps when you’re searching. A good search phrase is “PropTech CSM”.

If you’re a current Yardi user they can’t hire you.

Why do you say that? I don’t remember this being a thing last time I inquired to Yardi about a position. Has this changed recently?

Alicia Holmes they cant recruit you. You can absolutely go to work for them if it's you initiating with them. They do have to inform the client before hire.

Jaymz Yates that wasn’t my understanding. My former Yardi rep stated it just the way I repeated. Always worth trying

Hello there! I made the switch from a corporate support (Training) role to the supplier partner side. I have to say that working on the supplier partner side gave me a lot more balance...and working from home was wonderful. However, I was also let go from supplier partner roles for not making quota (during covid) and when budgets and board members shifted priorities.

I have since gone BACK to the Corporate Support side of an Owner/Operator because I feel it is a much more secure spot to be in. When the economy gets wonky and owner/operators STOP investing in new technology or whatever else a supplier is selling...they may have to adjust their rent strategy, but they know that people still need a place to live...and consumers the same way...they may stop buying cars, houses, and taking vacations...but they still need a roof over their heads!

Feels a little more "recession proof" on the owner/operator side to me.
