We put a community mailbox in front of our 15 unit building which allowed us to put a keypad lock on the main door for extra security for the whole building. (We couldn't do it before because the post office refused to deliver mail since the mailboxes were built into the main hallway and they wouldn't let us give them a code.) The residents are all super excited about the change!
Our on site security team implemented an emergency call dispatch phone number for our residents, this phone number is posted and in an event of an emergency a resident can call and reach dispatch.
Pool passes last summer, it’s a gated community but we had issues with the public sneaking in our pool. We Assigned all residents pool passes and checked everyone’s passes multiple times a day along with reiterating the pool pass rule with all new move ins, took a bit but now it’s peaceful and hardly ever happens anymore.
Parcel lockers. They have freed up so much time for the staff administratively! The residents are mad about the additional charge, but also happy that their stuff is safe from porch pirates.
We were having continuing mailbox theft with mail and packages stolen out of the parcel locker in our centralized mailbox area by the clubhouse so we added a surveillance camera for footage and 4 sets of bright motion detector lights to scare off the thieves. So far it's been successfull!
New upgraded laundry rooms with pin access door and cameras. Pincode lock gates for the pool rather thank keys. Gas grill locked with an amenity key to unlock and access the gas to turn on. Smart lock keys.
Packages can now be delivered to the mail room. Kept the package shelves needed at the holidays. Now all package retrievers are on camera. The mailroom is also accessed by a code.
