I started calling the jobs and asking if they work there and just ask the owner to email me

Some of them are downright hilarious. I had one use a free version of a paystub generator so it had the watermark on it that stated the app's name. 🤔

We use Esuzu, but find that there is so much that they don’t accept and you get an N/A response.

Try RentRisk. Uses bank and payroll connected data to verify income and employment. Can also verify identity and assets without applicant involvement
