The Position

We are a fast-growing firm and are looking to expand our Accounting team with the addition of a Property Accountant. This role will require a high degree of collaboration between the Accounting team and Property Managers so the ability to build relationships and communicate effectively across all organizational levels will be key. 


What You’ll Do


The Property Accountant will be responsible for a portfolio of operational and development stage entities. Responsibilities will include preparation of financial statements, budgeting, cash management, variance analyses, and property/tenant statistics. Other duties include:


  • Accounts payable

  • Accounts receivable

  • bank reconciliations

  • data entry

  • general ledger recording

  • general ledger reconciliations

  • monthly and year end closings

  • assist with projects, projections, and data research

  • submission of information to CPA auditor for tax returns and filings

  • assistance and administrative tasks                       

This role will also assist in preparing year-end audit and compliance documentation and responding to any questions pertaining to year-end work with our outside auditors and consultants, requiring a high level of communication and the ability to work with various teams outside of PRM.

An ideal candidate is someone who has passion, work ethic and who wants to make a positive impact in a growing organization. To be successful, the individual in this role will be detail oriented, highly organized and will understand the sense of urgency for critical deadlines. 

We are looking for candidates with Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or 2 years of similar work experience. Real Estate software knowledge, such as Timberline, OneSite, Yardi or similar property management software is highly desirable, though not required.
