Please weigh in:
Resident reports lint is coming out of the dryer vent tubing and asks for repair. Comes home to the 'repair' as shown below.
Calls office and asks for work to be redone, properly. Maintenance comes to apartment and says repair (as is) is fine and will not change the repair.
Please give me your thoughts on this.

Guest Insider Retraining the maint tech required. I’d also have all work he completes over the next couple weeks inspected and approved by supervisor before work orders closed.

Teresa Bruno Was the technician hired based on their existing expertise or did they receive training after being employed? If the latter, this scenario should serve as an educational opportunity for all parties involved and must be documented thoroughly, including photographs, in coordination with Human Resources. This is a significant liability matter that must not go unrecorded.
