Jonathan Cheville
Jonathan Cheville I do these kinds of remediations regularly and this is on the lower end of the severity that gets handled by an outside vendor. Trust me, you're getting A+ service primarily for your own piece of mind. 4 months ago

Guest Insider Since you’re in PM I’m sure you already know that “leaks” are sometimes the hardest to repair. It’s all about trying to do this or that and wait. This needs to stay open. Hopefully you allow them the time it is going to take to solve your issue. Since they are using contractors I’m sure you understand that they are at their mercy as far as scheduling. You might have weeks of people in and out till the problem is solved. 4 months ago

Kelli Windsor
Kelli Windsor This is minimal damage. Your insulation looks ok and isn’t waterlogged or moldy.
It’s ok to have it not covered- Gotta leave it for a few days to air dry before the finish. Remediation looks good too with no signs of mold or mildew that I can see.
If they haven’t done a water test yet, they should and likely will. By forcing it to leak, it will help them pinpoint the problem and plan the repair.
Sounds like they have a solid plan if they follow through with the next steps.
