This course will take students through common microbial growth events. The goal of the course is to identify the source of the moisture and lack of airflow conditions that lead to growth. We will discuss ways to manage smaller events properly and identify the three levels of events and when site staff should be used and when professionals are needed. Lastly we will cover techniques and components that can help to alleviate growth all together.

His background includes owning and operating a construction firm, Property Preservation Director for the two largest multi-family management companies in Oregon, and running a national training institution for the multifamily housing industry. He is a subject matter expert for the National Apartment Association, Uniform Physical Condition Standards Inspector, and LEED Certified.
