Companies are Struggling Keeping Talent, but are Employers Misunderstanding the Ultimate Needs of their Team Members?

I was fortunate enough to join Daniel Cunningham on the Apartment Academy podcast recently where we dug into the issues with staffing shortages in multifamily, based upon our Staffing Shortages Research Report.  (I highly recommend you check out the full results – Reading through people’s inner thoughts on why they are considering leaving their company is incredibly illuminating.)

In the session, I dig into where employers might be getting a lot of this wrong.  Although pay is clearly an issue in multifamily, there are several other elements that appear to be driving employees away, and yet many employers don’t seem to understand what is really negatively impacting their team members.
