Honey, I’m home!

Honey, I’m home!

The Honeycomb Trend

We are beekeepers. There are a few hives on our little homestead with 18,000  🐝’s pollinating our flowers, garden and giving us fresh local honey. It is a labor of love, great for allergies, and just plain delicious.

Fun fact. Did you know a 15 ounce jar of honey requires 1152 bees to travel 111,000 miles and visit 4.5 million flowers!

Here are a few of our pretties.

So, have you heard the buzz?

Geometrics are not only timeless but on-trend. Honeycomb inspired cell structures are popping up in fashion, home decor, and of course on your floors and walls!

Aren’t these styles BEE-utiful in a honeycomb mosaic from sheet vinyl to tile:

Aren’t they as sweet as honey?

Are you using the honeycomb trend to turn your units into “Comb Sweet Comb?”

Remember to do your own sting becuzzzzzzzzz you are the bee’s knees!

Sweet words are like honey to the soul!

Hive Five,
Tracy

Hi Joann. Thanks for your comment. Yes as long as it’s porcelain it can go indoors or outdoors. Just check the label or speak to your local flooring rep to confirm. Any of the glass or ceramic cannot go outside. We do have a beautiful porcelain hexagon for outdoors called Golden Gate. You would love it!

Also Joann, make sure when looking at your tile sample for exterior applications, the tile needs to be frost resistant, slip resistant and have a PEI of 3 or higher.
