I train all of my sales teams with this rule:
Find a hobby. Commit to it. No excuses.
I run 5 miles every other day.
Not even for my health — for my sanity.
It resets my mindset, my attitude, and my patience.
I've been burnt out before.
The kind where lights are completely out by 7PM for months.
Then I woke up one day like… yeah, this isn't me at all.
The world kept spinning, and I wasn't about to fall behind.
If you want to avoid burn out in 2026, stop relying on a better tomorrow, and start relying on what you can do to keep your own sanity when you're off the clock.
Maybe that's watching your favorite YouTuber each day.
Maybe that's getting in your kitchen and cooking a bomb-A meal each night.
Whatever the heck it is, go back to the thing you loved doing as a kid and do it again.
It's not rocket science.
What I've learned, is no one will advocate for you quite like you can.
So don't wait around for it 😂
Set aside time for you.
Be intentional with the time you set.
Create a boundary around it.
What is an activity that you do daily to allow yourself a fresh reset?
