Hello all! Recommendations please-seminars/webinars for a new employee-never worked in property mgmt before-specifically I am looking for training related to resident retention and prospective residents! TIA!

Yes I saw those but the upcoming ones seem more for supervisors….

People make decisions on how they feel, not on facts alone, ie. on a tour or talking with a resident, they feel welcomed and heard. You can teach how to do a tour, or enter a resident request, but in my 30 years of experience, if someone doesn't have politeness and listening skills to begin with, then the only way they will learn, if they do, is by shadowing someone else who exemplifies those skills.

I also encourage you to reach out to your local Apartment Association! They often have great training session. AND/OR take a class at a local Community College. Deescalation, People Management, Customer Service, Property Management are all classes I've seen.
