How are all of you handling your 7th circle of hell package deliveries? We have a property with 7 buildings. Some amazon delivery people do the right thing, but a lot of them just dump packages wherever they want. I have packages meant for people in other towns, other states, as well as for our residents but in wrong buildings. How do we stop the madness? I have chased down delivery trucks but I can’t be there for all of them.

Contact Amazon directly. I have 7 buildings as well and they deliver them to either the bottom floor of their building being delivered to or to the exact unit addressed

I’m pretty sure there is an Amazon delivery sign up somewhere last I set it up for a property it was Amazon Key (I forget the name) where you can call and coordinate with them your addresses and if you have a locker system or a main office etc. I think they mostly go out the window at the holidays but if they have Amazon key set up makes their life easier

We have a concierge team that accepts all packages, checks them in via ActiveBuilding, and delivers to the residents either in home or at the door with their permission. Those who don’t opt in we hold at the office and they pick up. It used to be through Valet Living but they did away with that program so we hired our concierges in house. An amenity residents seem to enjoy.

We offer that to our residence and have for the last couple of months but we’ve had no takers. It’s not very popular at my community.

Lauren Tagliatela I use it at my property and for the most part it has been great. Yes they don’t have a phone number you can call if there is an issue, however, I’ve used it for nearly three years and I’ve had MAYBE 6 issues. It’s a great program that cuts down on delinquency. My best recommendation is to ADVERTISE IT EVERYWHERE. Social media, email blasts, door to door. Even discuss it upon move in. If talked about correctly, you can get a lot of residents to use it!

I'm curious if anyone here has a tenants union at their property? We don't but they are becoming stronger in our town. Right now they are fighting for capping annual rent increases at 3%.
