I have a resident who is at the end of their rope and I’m really worried about him. He’s on the verge of eviction, car repossession, utilities being cut off, and he’s eating PB&J sandwiches…are there any programs or any charities that can help with things like this? He’s in a commission...

Me: “What is the date you are moving out?”
Resident: “We don’t know yet. But can you start our notice today and we will give you an official date in about a month when we know more?”
Me: “That’s not how a notice works.” 🤦‍♀️

Kathy Chaney Just had one, gave notice 3/23,, moved out 4/30. Complained to apt assoc because I charged cost of reletting. Apt not cleaned complained about fees. There is no winning with these people anymore. They all want us to change the rules to suit them. It doesn't work that way. It's nothing personal, I'm just doing my job.

Jacqui Stewart When a resident tells us that they are buying a house we always make it clear to the person coming in that there may be some flexibility needed due to any settlement issues. Those who have no flexibility, we will move to one that doesn’t need it. Those who can allow flexibility, we will give to them.
