I’ve met a cranial roadblock. Sol Housing does a lot of senior housing, but our next development will be 80/20. I’m having a hard time finding language that indicates more than seniors are welcome to apply. And just saying “all ages” doesn’t hit right. Love to hear your brainstorm.

Guest Insider 80/20 as the 80 must be 55 and over? (Or 62?) and 20 can be less? There should be a policy in place with and age limit for the 20. All my senior properties were set up that way. (But 1) Most of our 20, the age limit was set at 45.
If you allow any age, that seemed to cause many concerns to the seniors that reside there for the reasoning of being “Seniors”. The 1 company that allowed any age, created a mess! We lost many seniors due to it. Just my experience…

Anonymous member Because it's primarily a senior property, I'd push the remaining 20 as resident referral units. Seniors tend to not want just anyone living nearby so let them "pick" with a healthy referral bonus.
"Seniors and their friends and family of all ages"
Avoid using any "negative" phrases like "no age restrictions" as digital search doesn't pick up the "no" very well.
That's why we removed "we don't accept section 8" because the "section 8" would keyword for "section 8 apartments" because search isn't quite smart enough to pick up the "dont"
