A resident (ME) rents the Guest Suite where they live for $210 per night for 5 nights for friends coming from out of town, picks up the key & goes to the suite. There is a maintenance ladder inside the door, 3 of the 4 bulbs are out over dinning room table, drawer front missing in the kitchen, fridge not plugged in, laundry in the washer & dryer. Master bath has no toilet paper, bed not made. Toilet paper holder in hall bath is broken & laying on the counter, toilet is plugged. Maintenance flushes the toilet and floods the bathroom & hallway. Being in Property Management can be time consuming! It can take over our life! Don't let it!! Keep a healthy balance! Go home when you are supposed to. Take your PTO and vacation time. The property will be there when you get back!
