Best Hiring Practices: Finding a Flawless Fit for the Organization

The ability to attract and retain high-level associates has become a primary focus in multifamily, where a competitive employment environment continues to persist. Organizations can best position themselves for success by getting it right from the start—in the hiring process. That concept might sound simple enough, but the industry often experiences a significant disconnect regarding associates hired by organizations compared to what t ...

Delinquency question!

What are creative ways to tell upper management/corporate that a resident doesn’t have the money to pay, is waiting on rental assistance, and is not moving?

I have about 4-5 residents that have told me they are just waiting for the eviction to take place or rental...

I would love advice from all of the brilliant brains in the group.

My son moved into his first post-college apartment in a property professionally managed by a great company here in Denver.

However, there is a resident who lives above him who seems to be having some sort of mental break...he literally stomps and screams at the top of his lungs for hours. When my son calls me, I can hear the guy screaming and stomping through the phone. It goes on...

What’s the Outlook for Affordable Multi-Family Housing in 2023?

During the past two years, prices for single-family homes rose at record-breaking rates, forcing many first-time buyers to postpone their plans and continue to rent.  In addition, demand for affordable multi-family housing increased as more Generation Z renters (age 18 to 23) left their family homes for apartments.  Thi ...

I do not want her back it was nightmare last time and it will be the same again.
Do we have to allow a past tenant to apply and move back? I’ve been...
