Kitty Callaghan enzymes are enzymes. Google drain enzymes and they will pop up. Personally I would use the granular kind. Run hot water for a minute or two, add the product as directed then run about a 1/2c of hot water to get it going and let it set overnight. There are also liquid enzymes but I personally do not find them as effective.

Active Enzymes and repeat. Also make sure the drain gets some water every few days. Keeps the trap full and the smell away. Or close it up with a drain plug.

Also, are you sure it’s not methane coming back up?

If you pull the trap you'll see the oupes are caked up with old grease and debris which is what's causing the smell. Enzymes work best. For my home I pull the trap and manually clean that gunk from the pipes. The added bonus is it gets rid of the slow drains caused by the clogged pipes

The water that stands in the trap should last months before it evaporates and allows the sewer gas smell to pass into the living area. If the water is only lasting a few days it's likely that your plumbing system is not vented correctly. Without proper venting suction is created when there is drainage elsewhere in the system - for example when a nearby washing machine empties. That suction can siphon out the water that would normally stand in the trap to block smells.

check to make sure you do not have a cracked trap or pipe
there are cleaners like jet cleaners that can be used enzyme only work when they stay in contact and eat biological matter
if there is a trap that has a crack anything put into it will just drain through and let sewer gases through.
if its a floor drain you will need at least a gallon of water and 1 cup of odoban
