Topic: Summer Concerts!

What's your summer concert of choice this year?

By far...Dave Matthews and Coldplay! Maybe the Fray

I'm a huge music geek. I have tickets to Son Volt(my favorite) and Cowboy Junkies next week in Denver. Last month I saw The Sounds in the Springs.

I'm sure this only demonstrates my total geekiness, but tomorrow night is Video Games Live ... San Diego Symphony's performance "combines memorable video game music with synchronized lighting, game and costume contests, and lots of new material!" Can't wait!!

I visited Quebec City, Quebec last week during their summer fest. Summer fest is 10 days of music and entertainment. For a one time $45 fee, concert goers could see Styx, KISS, Sting, Les Claypool, Placido Domingo, Yeah Yeah Yeahs (another favorite of mine), as well as another 100 bands from all over the world. The one time fee gave you access to shows every day. Great deal and well worth the cost to fly.

I am truly a big fan of The Fray and I have always wanted to see them perform live. Wish I can witness their great talents when they have a concert in our state. Looking forward to that day when I get to rock with them in a live concert!

I ain't really sure about the talks or rumors but I am definitely looking forward to seeing Darlene Zcsech (I am not sure how it spells) and the rest of the Hillsong Team. It's not actually a concert but it is more of a praise and worship and that's what excites me the most. I really hope that will be pursued and I am looking forward to it!

Every year I go to the ACL Festival...but they have moved it to October this year, so not sure if that qualifies for a summer concert.

Hoping to catch Ghostland Observatory in the near future....
