Great idea...especially for seniors!

I think this is awesome, what a fabulous way to appeal to our cat lovers out there!
If I may add a bit to it... See if a local shelter would be willing to come out on a Saturday when the weather is nice & host an on-site adoption for cats only. Maybe only charge half of the normal pet fee, serve light refreshments & have someone give cat friendly pet advice for apartment living. For each person that comes, they get a ticket. Have a drawing at the end and the winner gets the cat bed. Win, win! :)

I love this idea, and I really wish I had seen it before my trip to IKEA last week.

I am definitely getting my cats a cat bed. But I am positive they will never use it.

A few days ago, I shared this pet friendly idea from IKEA . Well, I've run across another, although this one wasn't actually created by IKEA. Three days ago, someone bought an IKEA doll bed and created a unique cat bed :

This created a strange flood of people to IKEA buying their own cats a bed(s):

A fairly big chunk of you all are going to think this is a bit crazy, all this focus on cat beds. But this is what creating a niche community would be all about. Whether it is a focus on fitness, a focus on pets, or a focus on the culinary arts, there are opportunities to dig into a specific lifestyle and really wrap the community around it. And if you have a pet-centric community, this is right up your alley!

The cat beds cost $19.99 and would be fun contest prizes, renewal thank yous, or even move-in gifts. What do you all think?
